Agae 50-69 play from the Senior Tees. Age 70 and above may move to the forward most tees if they wish.

Lie: The ball may be lifted, cleaned, and moved by no more than one club length, no closer to the hole in all areas except greens and hazards.

Putts: Each player’s putter shaft should be marked at a 21 ½”. Putts are conceded if any part of the ball falls below this mark. If in question, the ball must be putted.

Lost Balls/Out of Bounds: Lost balls or Out of Bounds are not played as stroke and distance but instead played like a water hazard. The player may drop another ball at the estimated point where the ball left the playing area or was lost with a one stroke penalty only. Three minutes maximum to look for a lost ball.

Double-Bogey Rule: Double Bogey is the maximum score allowed per hole.

Measuring Devices: Players are authorized and encouraged to use yardage measuring devices.

Clubs: The USGA 14 club rule is waived.

Score Cards: Players shall not keep their own score. Exchange cards with players in the other cart. Do not use + or – or squares or circles. Write the ACTUAL SCORE on each hole.

Tees: The host course will declare below which set of tees are to be used by each age group. Players 50-69 will play what is considered the Senior Tees. Players 70+ may (if they wish), play a more forward set as determined by the host club. See below for tee colors for this particular host course.

New Players: New players without a GHIN will provide their average score from the senior tees, subtract 72, and use this as their handicap for the first two events until their CMSMGA handicap is established.

Ties: In the event of a tie, the prize winner will be determined by the score card playoff, beginning on hole number 1 going forward. Each player is eligible for only one flight prize. Low Gross supersedes Low Net.

Most tournaments are Individual Stroke Play. A few tournaments are a 2-man Scramble, and you may pick your own partner or have one assigned. We also have a \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Bubba N Me\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" event which is an Individual Stroke Play event but every player gets one mulligan per hole.

Register through your Club Representative and he will submit all registrations to the host facility the Friday before the event. The ability to register and pay for a tournament via a credit card has been removed. Visit the Tournaments page to view upcoming events.

Tournaments are held at various golf courses throughout the Central Mississippi area. The specific course is listed on each tournament detail page.
